LDM Ventures Fund I

Lansdowne Partners has been investing in venture opportunities since 2006, deploying c.$250m across more than 25 companies. We believe that integrating Listed and Venture investing within a single team fosters differentiated idea generation and enables us to connect established businesses with emerging innovation.

LDM Venture Fund I, managed by Peter Davies and Eli Krieger, held its first close in May 2026, raising $150 million, with a final close planned for December 2026. The fund will invest in early-stage technology companies and help to scale UK intellectual property into globally significant businesses.

We believe Lansdowne is well placed to execute this strategy, drawing on a long history of investing across and helping shape the UK venture ecosystem. The firm was an early backer of several leading innovation platforms, including Oxford Science Enterprises, IP Group, Entrepreneur First, Cambridge Innovation Capital and Northern Gritstone, and has also invested directly in a number of early scale-up success stories, six of which have already achieved unicorn status.
