Jonathon joined Lansdowne Partners in 2003. Prior to joining Lansdowne, Jonathon was an Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), managing UK equity high-performance pension funds. He joined MLIM in 1999 and spent a year in private equity, specializing in leveraged buyout opportunities and expansion capital within technology companies before joining the UK Specialist Team in 2000.

In addition to his fund management responsibilities, Jonathon has held sectoral research responsibilities for the banking, specialty finance, telecommunications, life assurance, and insurance sectors throughout his career. He is a member of the investment committee of the John Lyon’s Charity, part of the Harrow School Foundation.

Jonathon holds a BA (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Bath and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
